Privacy Policy

Rezonact is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We believe learning data should be treated with care and transparency.

By default, your account information, course progress, exercise answers, and activity on Rezonact are kept private and are never made publicly visible. The one exception is course completion certificates, which you can choose to share via a public verification link so that third parties such as employers or recruiters can verify your achievement. See the Certificates and Public Verification section below for details.

By using Rezonact, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, and authentication data when you sign up via email/password or Google login through Supabase.
• Usage data: course progress, completed lessons, quiz scores, streaks, and badges earned.
• Exercise submissions: text you enter into practice exercises, stored to track progress and improve feedback.
• Certificate data: when you complete a course, we generate a certificate that includes your recipient name, the course title, and the completion date. This certificate may be made publicly viewable through its unique verification link, separate from your other account data, which remains private.
• Newsletter data: email address, if you voluntarily subscribe to updates.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically for security and analytics.

When you complete a course, Rezonact generates a certificate of completion tied to your account.

Each certificate has a unique, publicly accessible verification link (rezonact.com/verify/[id]). Anyone with this link, including people you did not send it to directly, can view the recipient's name, the course completed, and the completion date on the verification page. No other account information (such as email address, password, or activity elsewhere on the platform) is ever shown on the verification page.

This public verification page exists specifically so certificates can be trusted by third parties, such as employers or recruiters, when shared on a resume or professional profile like LinkedIn.

Certificates are only created when you complete a course; Rezonact does not make any other course progress, exercise answers, or account activity publicly visible.

You control sharing: certificate links are only shared publicly if you choose to share them (e.g. via the "Share to LinkedIn" or "Copy link" buttons). Rezonact does not post or share your certificates on your behalf.

If you would like a certificate and its public verification link deactivated, contact us via the page linked in the Contact section, and we will remove public access to that specific certificate.

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Rezonact learning platform.
• Track your learning progress, streaks, and achievements.
• Generate and verify course completion certificates.
• Send optional product updates if you have subscribed to the newsletter.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.

We use basic session and authentication cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Rezonact does not sell your data and does not run ads.

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the platform:

• Supabase — used for authentication, database hosting, and user data storage.
• Email service provider — used to send newsletters and transactional emails if you subscribe or contact us.

Data is shared with these providers only as needed to operate Rezonact. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are required to keep it by law.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or through the newsletter unsubscribe page.

If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to request details about the data we hold about you.

Rezonact is not directed at children under 13. Account creation requires that you meet the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your data may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. By using Rezonact, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform means you accept the revised policy.
